For many years, Dee felt trapped in a body that didn’t feel right, leading to constant distress. Believing that transitioning from female to male would be the answer, Dee committed fully to the process, expecting it to bring fulfillment and happiness. The transition took years and involved cutting ties with family and friends who did not support the decision.
Meet Dee Miller
Hello! Thank you for stopping by MJM Ministry to hear about my story. I am Dee Miller the founder. I spent much of my youth believing that I was born in the wrong body. Every day I felt trapped inside skin that did not fit. I was miserable. When I began transitioning from female to male, I wholeheartedly believed that this was the answer to everything. This was going to be the solution, and I was going to have happiness in every area of my life. Years were put into the transition. I had cut off every relationship with family and friends who did not agree with my choice.
Then I slowly began to realize that becoming male did not meet my expectations. I had to make that honest admission to myself. Now what was my next step going to be? It was a gut- wrenching time. The battle within was difficult, knowing I was going to have to admit this truth to others as well. Would they continue to walk with me. Or would these newer relationships be severed as well?
All the efforts that I had put into changing my gender would need to be reversed. I finally found the courage to announce I was going to stop transitioning. No one understood the choices I was making in my life. Everyone had an opinion that they freely would share with me. How I wished someone would have tried to listen and understand. I was grateful to have employment, but I was only the office gossip. I looked like a freak and was grateful for the income, but it was exhausting to be there. I eventually had a breakdown that led to hospitalization.
I was alone on my own island. Misunderstood by everyone around me. I do not want you or anyone you know to walk this journey alone.
